For provision stores and mini marts
A provision store sells a little of a great many things: noodles and milk, soap and sugar, sachets and cartons. That is exactly what makes it hard to know what the shop made, which items are running out, and who has been buying on credit. Sellka keeps all of it on your phone.

How to manage a provision store: the records that matter
- Sell fast at the counter. Scan a barcode with the phone, or find an item by name. The total adds itself up and Sellka works out the change. Daily sales record.
- Know your stock without counting every day. Every sale takes its items off. Set a low stock level on the items that sell fastest, and Sellka warns you before the shelf is empty. Stock taking.
- Cartons and singles. Sell a carton of milk and the tins inside it. Sellka knows how many tins a carton opens into, and sells rice or sugar by the kilo.
- Keep your credit customers straight. Regulars who pay at the end of the week go onto their own name and phone number, with every payment recorded. Credit book.
- Know what each item earns you. Enter what you paid your supplier, and Sellka shows what you keep on every sale, so you know which items are worth the shelf space.
Setting up a shop with hundreds of items
A provision store can have hundreds of products, and typing each one is where most owners give up on an app. With Sellka, take one photo of each item on the shelf and it reads the name off the packet. Naming a product this way needs a connection. Add products with the camera.
Is a provision store making money?
Your records answer it for your own shop. Sellka shows what you sold, what those goods cost you and what you kept, for the day, the week and the month. With your running costs written down too, the monthly report shows the trading result for the whole month. How to work out what your shop makes.
Works when the network does not
Recording sales, stock and credit never needs a connection, so a slow afternoon with no signal is still a day on the record. How Sellka works with no internet.
